How we are governed
Population Council Kenya is governed by its own Board of Directors — an independent, non-executive body responsible for strategic direction, fiduciary oversight, and institutional accountability.
The Board sets policy direction and monitors organizational performance, while day-to-day operations are led by the Senior Management Team.
We are registered with the NGO Coordination Board of Kenya, accredited by USAID, and compliant with all applicable Kenya Revenue Authority and Employment Act requirements.
